Ironic

I don't know about you but I found it all rather ironic that the BNP and UKIP won seats in the European elections when their whole thing is to get rid of foreigners and get us out of Europe.
How can they be in something they so blatantly don't agree with? And how could anyone vote for someone into something they don't agree with?
Interesting times we live in!

  1. Quite agree with your blog Diane. I also think it is time for the church to get into politics, not necessarily party politics although that is not excluded but just actively calling for truth and justice within the political system as well as on the outside. It was never right just to moan on the outside without actually doing anything. Well that is what I think anyway. (By the way I am a wife of an Ian and I home educated my three children).

  2. Thanks for that an love your blog. Will have to try to keep an eye on you.
My daughter, 15 at the mo, is hoping to get into politics or something human rights like where she can do something about truth and justice.

  3. Oh thank you! That is really exciting to hear of a passionate young person, I get so tired of youngsters who can't be bothered. I am studying Development Management in the hope that I can be of use in bringing development to the area I live in in anyway I can and much of my studies has been about how to hear the voice of the poor in a world where the power dynamics are skewed. Good for her! I pray she does well and battles through the inevitable ups and downs of that sort of journey.

Another possible website for your Home Ed site is northstaruk.org an organisation I work for as a moderator of the student café and the organisation I used to help my children with their GCSE's
